PhylGood is a community initiative of the 3-11 Foundation, Inc., created to ensure that no young female athlete misses practice, sits out of competition, or loses confidence simply because she doesn't have access to basic feminine hygiene products.

What began as conversations with athletes, athletic trainers, and coaches quickly revealed a need that often goes unnoticed. Girls were quietly missing practices, competitions, and even school because they lacked menstrual products or were unprepared when their period started unexpectedly.

As an organization dedicated to removing barriers to youth participation in sports, the 3-11 Foundation knew this was a problem we could help solve.

That's why PhylGood was born.

Our mission is simple:

Equip. Empower. Encourage.

We provide thoughtfully assembled feminine care kits to schools athletic training departments and athletic programs, helping girls stay focused on their performance instead of worrying about their period.

The need is greater than many people realize.

• Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. teens have struggled to afford period products due to lack of income or financial hardship. (State of the Period, 2023)

• Over 80% of teens report feeling stressed or embarrassed about getting their period at school.

• Millions of girls worldwide miss school because they lack access to menstrual products.

• Studies have found that inadequate menstrual supplies can negatively impact school attendance, sports participation, confidence, and overall well-being.

For athletes, the challenge can be even greater.

Practices, travel meets, tournaments, and competitions often mean long hours away from home. Without access to the products they need, girls are forced to improvise, leave early, or simply not participate.

No athlete should have to choose between competing and managing her period.
